Set in a peaceful spot with views over the Atlas Mountains, just outside of one of Morocco's rural villages and around a 15 minute drive to the nearest town sits Palais Tafoukt...your own private oasis. The property comprises of two traditionally built and styled riads which make up this private accommodation, along with extensive garden areas, a private swimming pool and spa facilities for the ultimate relaxing holiday.

Sip Moroccan tea in the sunshine, dine al-fresco on the terrace whilst revelling in the mountain views, cool off in the swimming pool or simply wander the immaculate gardens that encompass Palais Tafoukt.
Accommodation overview
Palais Tafoukt is comprised of two riads; Riad Berber & Riad Fassi. Riad Berber accommodates up to 6 guests and Riad Fassi can accommodate a further 8 guests. Please note that if you have a party of 1-6 guests only Riad Berber will be opened for you. If you have any further guests then Riad Fassi will also be opened up to accommodate them (please bear in mind that Riad Fassi is a separate building). The property is for the sole use of your party throughout your stay.
Riad Berber
Situated amongst lush greenery you will find Riad Berber, the larger of the two riads. A spacious and sophisticated living space invites you to settle down by the warmth of the fire and an elegant dining room encourages guests to dine inside together on cooler nights.Along with this there are 3 en-suite double bedrooms. Each bedroom is equipped with an indoor fireplace, small table & chairs and bathroom amenities.Head up to the terrace which faces the Atlas Mountains, allowing guests to dine with a magnificent view. Up here you will also find stone seating which runs around the edge of the terrace with an array of colourful cushions, making it the perfect spot to sit and soak up some sun whilst enjoying the vista.
Riad Fassi
Centred around a small patio area boasting oriental mosaic tiling, cascading bougainvillea and a traditional water fountain, Riad Fassi comprises of 4 bedrooms. Two double bedrooms and two twin bedrooms, each with their own en-suite bathroom. Each bedroom is equipped with an indoor fireplace, small table & chairs and bathroom amenities.
Outdoor space
Palais Tafoukt's extensive gardens feature many native plants including orange trees, bougainvillea, red hibiscus, Arabian jasmine as well as an olive grove. Discover the formal French garden filled with beautiful roses, or listen to the calming sound of the large water feature lined by lush trees.Amidst the gardens you will find the glistening, private swimming pool. Take a dip in the pool surrounded by olive trees, cacti, and flowers, or take a break from the sun in the poolside pavilion.Swimming pool heating is available from November through to April for €300 per week.Guests are also welcome to make the most of the property's own private Hammam, steam room and massage room. These are available for an additional charge, payable locally.
Staff & Services
Everyday a resident chef will come in and prepare you a traditional Moroccan breakfast and your evening meal. Set Mediterranean inspired menus will be provided to you in advance so that you can select your evening meal for the day. All meals are home made and make the most of the local and seasonal produce. If requested, the chef can prepare lunches at the villa, packed lunches and midday snacks for you (payable locally). In addition to this, you will also have a resident maid come to the property each morning in order to clean and help the chef serve your meals.A resident gardener, who lives in a separate building at the entrance to the property, tends to the gardens during your stay and is available to organise the Hammam should you wish to use it (payable locally). 

You will also be greeted on arrival by the property manager whose contact details you will have throughout your stay. They manager will be available to help organise spa treatments (including massages, body scrubs, skin care treatments & manicures), day trips, and private drivers (all payable locally).You are welcome to bring your own alcohol, or alternatively, if requested in advance, we can arrange for the accommodation to have a selection of Moroccan beer and wine (payable locally).
