Location
Just 30km from Marrakech, the Agafay Desert is a mineral desert which extends over more than 20km, an astonishing micro climate at the foot of the Atlas Mountain range whose climatic conditions are close to the Sahara.  This desert has no sand dunes but a very soft rocky relief with breath-taking landscapes, different lights all day long and snow-capped peaks including that of Toubkal in the background.
The Setting
The decoration of the camp was carried out by Vincent Jaquet. A real invitation to travel, the theme of exploration is very present and the materials used were chosen from local Moroccan crafts and the diversion of objects from everyday Moroccan life.  Vincent found many pieces of wood and iron in nature and used them in his decoration, along with rocks, pebbles and the shades of brown which are all very present.
