The Architect’s House was definitely built to impress; the way the sleek and contemporary design connects with the Mediterranean views is nothing short of spectacular. The vast open plan living area opens onto a spacious terrace where you can enjoy breakfast by the private infinity pool or pre-dinner drinks before the trip into Kalkan’s old town to indulge in some delicious Turkish cuisine and low key night life.

The generous accommodation is spread over 4 floors with ever
more amazing views from each successive increase in height. The
stylish interiors have been elegantly furnished and the
accommodation is laid out as follows:
Ground floor
The ground floor consists of spacious and contemporary open-plan
living. The living area has plenty of comfortable seating, Sky TV a
DVD player plus an iPod docking station. Floor to ceiling glass
windows and doors flood light into the property and maximise the
views.
The sleek well-equipped kitchen features granite work surfaces,
full oven, hob, microwave, large fridge-freezer, Nespresso coffee
machine (please bring your own capsules for this as you cannot
source them in Kalkan) and dishwasher.
A separate utility room houses a washing machine, tumble-drier,
iron, ironing board and WC. Doors from the living area lead out
onto the villa's spacious pool terrace from which to enjoy
panoramic Mediterranean views.
First floor
Bedroom 1 - The first floor houses the master bedroom with super
King size bed and private sea view balcony. The en-suite facilities
include a Jacuzzi bath and shower.
A Mezzanine gallery area incorporates a study and has a beautiful
outlook over the living room below and beyond to the
Mediterranean.
Second floor
Bedroom 2 & 3 - On the second floor are 2 double bedrooms, one
with a King size bed and one with a super King size bed, and both
feature a large sea view balcony and en-suite facilities (one has a
shower room and the other has a bath and shower).
Third floor
Bedroom 4 - The spacious twin bedroom on the 3rd floor has access
to a large roof terrace that offers magnificent sea views. This
bedroom also has modern en-suite facilities with bath and
shower.
Outside
Outside is a large private, infinity-edged pool
and furnished terrace, ideal for entertaining. Ample sun
loungers and parasols are provided for guests and there is also a
poolside shower and rattan cushioned seating area from which to
relax and take in the mesmerising views over the bay. A shaded
al-fresco dining area is provided together with a BBQ.
Additional information
- The Architect's House provides a table tennis table for guests
enjoyment.
- The villa has a security alarm system as well as CCTV.
- Shopping deliveries can be arranged if required.
- Water taxis are available from nearby beach
clubs which will take you across the bay to and from
Kalkan harbour (charges apply).
- Pool heating is included in the cost for stays in April and
October. For stays in May, pool heating is available for an
additional charge.

"The Architect's House impresses on many levels and some of its stand out points to me are... Location - The villa is a few minutes walk from Mahal Beach Club. The beach club operates a water taxi service during the day which will take you to town, or you can do the walk in around 15 to 20 minutes or so. The location of the villa also benefits from the late evening sun and you can watch some fantastic sunsets from here. Style - The villa has a unique and carefully thought out interior and exterior design which provides a homely yet stylish feel for your holiday. The space and the range of seating areas are all great benefits of the villa. Views - Its position so close to the water allows guests to enjoy views out to sea and across Kalkan's Bay. There is also no need to fight over the bedrooms when each benefits from a sea view balcony or terrace!" |

Architect's House can be booked on an accommodation only basis and The Turquoise Collection Ltd will be the agent to facilitate your booking with the property owner. Please refer to the Owner’s Booking Terms and Conditions. A 25% reservation deposit secures your booking. A non-refundable Accidental Damage Waiver of £49 will be payable with the final balance. The Accidental Damage Waiver covers any accidental damage to your holiday accommodation or any item in it or on its grounds caused by a member of your party up to a maximum limit of £500. The final balance is due 12 weeks before your date of check in.
Holiday Package Bookings
If you would prefer to book a ‘holiday package’ which would include Architect's House and return flights from the UK, please contact us for more details, the total price and the deposit due to secure your booking. If you choose to book Architect's House as part of a ‘holiday package’ please refer to the Booking Terms and Conditions. A non-refundable Accidental Damage Waiver of £49 will be payable with the final balance. This is the second time we have visited this villa and the location is great and the views are amazing. We love the villa which is why we rebooked for a second time. Whilst the standard of the villa is generally excellent, there were a couple of items which need a little attention. Firstly, there are parts of the kitchen which are looking a little tired. Some of the cupboard doors are either not closing properly or look as if they need refitting. In addition, the back door only closes if it is slammed shut and the door in the main bedroom only opens if you really give it a really hard shove. None of these items distracted from our holiday, but we wanted to mention it, as the villa owners really need to make sure that the property is maintained to the standard that we saw on our first visit in 2022.

A very special property in a fabulous setting. The design of the villa makes the most of the fabulous view and the open plan design flows perfectly into the outdoor space creating a luxurious and sociable atmosphere
This is truly an unbelievable property ,you feel like a film star staying here,furnished to the highest degree ,Bang and Olufsen sound systems ,everything you could ever want . The infinity oool is amazing you seem to float into the Med ! And the views ,Oh my God !!! Can't wait to go back
A faultless villa, well equipped and stunning views across the bay. Each room had its own bathroom and was perfect for a family stay of six - it would not have been a hardship to have another couple to use the top floor - it was twin beds but still had an ensuite and private balcony. If you are looking for a superb getaway stay in Kalkan, this was well positioned just outside of town and away from all the tourists. We booked with The Turquoise Collection and the were incredibly helpful - consider (as we did) private transfer from the airport to reduce any stress and then hire locally, Turqouise Collection sorted all this for us... great agents
This property must be one of the best properties in Kalkan. It has everything from water coolers to Bose speakers. We rented for 2 weeks, 6 adults the first week and 8 adults the second week. There is nothing that we asked for that was not acted upon.
Villa has fantastic views and is finished to a very high standard with great facilities.
