Extensively renovated for the 2021 season, this impressive 7 bedroom villa with its’ unique well-considered layout offers cool, contemporary and unashamedly luxurious accommodation for 14 guests. Villa Lavaya is set on an 850sqm plot - one of the largest in Kalkan, thereby offering a significant amount of outdoor space. Several cushioned seating areas, sun loungers, hanging rattan swing chairs and double day beds are well placed around the vast terraces to take advantage of the sea views. An exceptional level of facilities including; 2 swimming pools, an entertainment/games area with outside bar, fully equipped gym, media room, Jacuzzi baths and beautiful sea and mountain views will keep everyone either entertained or immersed in relaxation. Outside
The huge 15m saltwater infinity pool at Villa Lavaya can be heated if desired and has a shallow section to enable non-swimmers/children to enjoy the pool, yet is still deep enough for the full length to be used by swimmers. From the pool there are views to the right out to Mouse and Snake Islands, a view best appreciated at sunset when dramatic hues of oranges, pinks and purples illuminate the sky.
If you are looking to hide from the midday sun, the hammock in the side garden is an ideal spot to relax with a good book. For those who enjoy the heat, grab a chilled bottle of water from the outdoor bar and relax in the unique swing structure while catching the sun's rays. The ​day beds next to the pool allow you to lie back and unwind to the sounds of water flowing from the master suite infinity pool above; the canopy can be extended to provide shade ​here ​if required.
The outdoor entertaining area with pool table, table tennis and darts board is a great space for those who still have some energy after a day by the pool, or fancy an afternoon activity shaded from the sun. Close by is a cushioned rattan seating area for spectators to sit and chill or just cool off with a refreshing drink.
To the other side of the entertaining area you will find a marble outside bar. Beautifully lit in the evening, the bar is equipped with everything you need to create a tempting sundown cocktail before lighting the stone BBQ for a meal on the terrace, or heading into town to visit one of Kalkan's renowned restaurants. Whether it's relaxing jazz or something upbeat you require, the outdoor sound system of Sonos speakers will not disappoint.
There is an alfresco dining area ideally situated between the kitchen and built-in stone BBQ, waterfall lights above the table create a magical ambience and a beautiful setting for evening dining.

Inside
The villa's glass façade with stone walls is modern and sophisticated and provides the perfect transition between the interior and the exterior of the villa. The quality continues inside with marble floors and elegantly furnished interior spaces with fresh, contemporary décor in grey and white with hints of ochre, interspersed with tasteful artworks and attractive plants.
Ground floor
The ground floor comprises a very generously proportioned light-filled open plan living area incorporating lounge, dining room, kitchen, WC and a reading area with handcrafted chairs and coffee table. The 75"TV with surround sound in the lounge makes it a great space to enjoy a movie together in the evening.  The marble kitchen is fully equipped for self-catering and a marble dining table is provided should you prefer to eat inside. Glass doors open up onto the poolside terrace at the front and to the entertainment area at the back.
The first bedroom is also on this level; a spacious double with en-suite shower room and glass doors which allow direct access to the poolside terraces.
A modern glass enclosed staircase leads up to the first floor.
First floor
On the first floor you will find 3 en-suite bedrooms, one double, one twin (can be made into double on request) and the master bedroom suite.
The double and twin bedrooms are both furnished with bespoke fitted wardrobes and dressing area and have access to en-suite shower rooms.  Each bedroom has floor to ceiling glass doors which open up onto a large shared furnished balcony from which to enjoy panoramic views of the Mediterranean and mountains. 
​The ​exquisite ​master bedroom suite ​is meticulously designed to maximise the views from its' position, glass doors open up to a generous private terrace furnished with a cushioned rattan sofa set and two swing chairs which hang from the pergola. A large private Jacuzzi joins onto a 10m plunge pool, which has a shallow level ideal for 2 sun loungers to sit and a waterfall feature at the end that cascades into the infinity pool below. Walk-in wardrobes provide ample storage and you can enjoy either a relaxing Jacuzzi bath, or a shower with sea views from the en-suite.
Second floor
The second floor consists of a further double bedroom with fitted bespoke wardrobes, dressing area and en-suite with both Jacuzzi bath and shower facilities. Floor-to-ceiling glass doors give access to a private wrap-around roof terrace furnished with sun loungers and swing chair, from which to enjoy breath-taking panoramic sea and mountain views.  
Lower ground floor
The lower ground floor is accessed down steps leading from the pool terrace and comprises a further double bedroom with en-suite shower room, fitted wardrobes and dressing area, a media room (which can also serve as a 7th bedroom) and gym.
For those who like to stay fit while on holiday, the air-conditioned gym has everything you need; equipped with multi-gym, exercise bike, weights bench, dumbbells, barbells, free weights, swiss ball and step.
The new media room is furnished with a bespoke double sofa bed for optimum comfort whether you want to watch a movie on the 65" TV with surround sound, or play a game on the XBOX.  There is also a fridge in the room so you don't need to go up to the main kitchen for drinks or snacks. This room also provides en-suite shower and w/c facilities and could alternatively serve as a 7th bedroom to accommodate 2 older children or teenagers if required.

The 13th and 14th guests would be accommodated on the double sofa bed in the media room - this is suitable for older children or young teens, but not suitable for adults.
Although the lower ground level is within the secure perimeter of the property, it is separately accessed from the main part of the house, so it would not be suitable to accommodate unaccompanied young children.
Pool heating is available for an additional charge
