Accommodation overview
This 4-bedroom Rhodes Island villa has been fully furnished
and well equipped with all the necessary amenities. Its white and
stone exterior typical of Greek design flows nicely through to the
interior where feature walls of the stone compliment the
modern, contemporary feel. Villa Kastalys
is strategically placed on the fringe of Faliraki and
Kalythies town, a quick 5 - 10 minutes drive from shops,
restaurants and bars, and only a few minutes drive from some of the
most popular beaches on Rhodes Island. The closest beach is also
within a 15 minute walk of the villa. Rhodes Town is also just 20
minutes away and Lindos 30 minutes. This tranquil location allows
for guests to escape to the privacy of their own villa, whilst
being close enough to shops, taverns, entertainment and
activities.
Ground floor
Villa Kastalys is situated on a large plot of land,
encompassed by a stone wall and accessed via a secure gate to
provide as much privacy as possible to guests.The main door opens
directly into an open plan living, dining and kitchen area. This
light and airy space features a plush corner sofa facing a flat
screen smart-TV, coffee table, dining table seating up to 8 guests
and a kitchen with an island providing an alternative area of high
stool seating. The use of cool grey tones mixed with the bright
white walls and natural stone provide a stylish living space.
Large, sliding glass doors lead out into the garden and pool area
from here. The first of four bedrooms is located on this
floor. This double bedroom features a dressing table area,
wardrobe, TV, blackout blinds, Kastalys embroidered linens,
en-suite bathroom and floor to ceiling doors opening out onto the
terrace and a small seating area. A separate WC can also be
found on the ground floor.
First floor
The first floor is home to the remaining three bedrooms. One
of these is a twin bedroom whilst the other two are doubles. Each
bedroom features a dressing table area, wardrobe, TV, blackout
blinds, Kastalys embroidered linens, en-suite bathroom and floor to
ceiling doors opening out onto a balcony.
Outdoor space
Kastalys offers a spacious outdoor area featuring a private
pool with hydromassage jets and poolside shower. There is ample
seating available, allowing guests to spread out on the poolside
sun loungers, 'bar' style seating and partly shaded rattan sofa and
armchair. An al-fresco dining area situated under the pergola
provides a dining table for up to 8, as well as a small kitchenette
area with a BBQ which enables guests to cook and dine together in
the warm evenings.
Useful notes
Villa Kastalys is fully air conditioned and has Wi-Fi
throughout. A local shop and an Italian takeaway
offering fantastic homemade pasta and pizza provide free
delivery to Villa Kastalys. Car hire is recommended. Taxis are
also available. Rhodes International Airport is around a 20
minute drive from the
villa.

Pricing: All prices are in EUROS (€)
Housekeeping Fee: A non refundable amount of 175€ (EUR) per stay is payable to us on your arrival for housekeeping.
Security/Breakages Deposit: You will be required to provide us, in cash on arrival 500€ (EUR), which we will hold against any losses, damage or any other charges you occur during your stay at the property. The costs of any losses, damage to your holiday accommodation or any item in it or on its grounds caused by a member of your party, or any other charges you or your party incur during your stay will be deducted from your security/breakages deposit with the residue refunded back to you upon check out.
Deposit: A 25% reservation deposit secures your booking and can be paid by credit/debit card by calling our office on +44 (0) 1449 770811.
Final Balance Payment: The final balance is due 12 weeks before departure and a refundable €500 security/damage deposit will need to be paid in cash upon your arrival at the villa.

The villa was great we were 4 couples and all rooms on suite. Tina was on hand for any questions and even got us 2 extra Sun loungers so we had 8 . The villa is in a spot where you need to drive or be happy with the bus or taxi. The bus stops are very close and easy to get to Rhodes town or Lindos. Taxi is 12-15€ into Faliraki with some great restaurants recommended by Tina
The location was great, it was very easy to get to the local bakery, butcher, beaches and fuel station. (We had hire cars)

The property was amazing! Exceeded all our expectations! They have thought of everything! Has everything you need and more! Beautiful inside and out. The property is perfectly situated with easy access to the whole island and a short drive into faliraki. Tina was amazing and so accommodating. We would definitely recommend!
We stayed at Kastalys Villa for 10 days at 8 and the holiday was just perfect. In the accommodation we did not miss anything. Tina (the hostess) was always helpful and gave us very good recommendations. The villa was very clean, air conditioned and very well equipped. The beach, various shopping options and Faliraki are in the immediate vicinity. We would definitely recommend a car. Just great!
We liked absolutely everything. the house is modern and clean. the bathrooms were top notch. the outdoor area took our breath away, the nice swimming pool. There is nothing to put your finger on here. we were so happy that we wanted to buy the house. the host was very helpful with everything. she made the stay very good. we cannot praise this place and the house enough. the house suits everyone!!!!
Very well equipped and clean, very good beach close to property, although we ended up hiring a car as maybe the villa is a little far for food shopping etc.
Everything was ok. Especially we apriciate Tina's help with arranging boat trip or anything else.
We stayed in the villa in May - June. We arrived at approx midnight and was still greeted by Tina the host. She arranged food and ensured we had breakfast for the next day before we could do a shop. Nothing was ever too much trouble, she is an absolute asset to the owners. Waking up in the villa in day light was unbelievable. The facilities are amazing we couldn't quite believe how beautiful it was. the pool is a perfect size for a cool off, with a perfect shallow area if you are travelling with children. The kitchen utilities had everything you could need for making a variety of meals and the utility area was perfect. The air conditioning worked very well and you could keep the villa at the temperature you required at all times. There are shutters that come down for the whole villa which makes for a perfect sleeping environment as it effectively gives you black out blinds but better. Alabamas bar is a must which is the closest bar to the villa. for a relaxed atmosphere and fantastic cocktails!
t's very difficult to say there was anything we didn't like about the Villa as it's a dream. But things to be mindful of because of where the villa in situated. - if you don't want to have a car (we didn't and each day we contemplated until it wasn't worth it) you will be paying 12€ for a taxi journey, whether it be 2 minutes or 10minutes down the road. The 2 taxi drivers that are recommended by Tina are fantastic and do not charge more than other drivers, so I would recommend always using these, however paying this price does mount up. It appears on Google maps that the walk in to Faliraki would take 20 mins, however a large part of this journey is on a very busy road with no pavement. There is a way to walk round and get on to the part of the road where a pavement is available but this takes 40mins. It is a nice walk out but can be difficult in the day with the heat and with children. It would be really helpful in the welcome pack to have information about the bus service. This would allow for more cost effective travel as it was very difficult to work out. We got to Lindos once we had worked out the bus journey, it was convenient as it was from the Bus stop on the road just up from the Villa. This cost 4€ each way. Compared to the 50€ in a taxi. - we couldn't find anywhere to hang a washing line which would have helped dry the amount of clothes we had.
