Getting to the villa
Villa Diamond located on Hvar Island, the nearest airport would be Split Airport on the mainland. To travel from Split Airport to Hvar Island with a car, you'll need to first drive from Split Airport to the town of Drvenik or Split to the town of Makarska, both of which have ferry ports connecting to Hvar. From Split, follow the signs for the A1 highway towards Drvenik or Makarska. Once you reach Drvenik or Makarska, you can board a ferry, with regular services to Stari Grad or Hvar Town on Hvar Island. Those not wishing to hire a car or wish to collect a car upon arrival on Hvar Island may wish to get a private transfer or bus from Split Airport to Split Ferry port where they board a ferry from Split to Stari Grad as foot passengers.
