The welcome
The Turkish hospitality begins with the arrival experience: whether by speedboat slicing a foaming wave to the floating dock, by helicopter descent to a green lawn or by driving up through hills flanked with ancient olive trees and hedges of blooming oleander. Guests walk through the lantern lit portal and wooden doors into a sky-lit lobby where there is a glass railing to look down over the remaining four floors and out to sea. A massive wood table, gold leafed underneath, glows as it presents Turkish delicacies and signature beverages to arriving guests.
Sustainability
Focused on environmental sustainability, the Six Senses is proud to be single-use plastic free. The hotel filters and bottles thier own still and sparkling water and also provides guests with reusable glass bottles for thier stay, reducing the carbon footprint associated with the packaging and transporting of drinking water. Fruit and vegetables grown in the hotels organic farms and gardens are used as the foundation for fresh, healthy and high quality meals for guests. Younger guests are able to learn about helping the environment through the back-to-nature activities in Grow With Six Senses. How to reuse and recycle, plant a seed and take care of the plant are just some of the fun and educational activities children can get involved in. They may even spot some wood peckers, squirrels, rabbits, foxes, turtles and even the odd wild boar in the area.
